"I have to stay overnight in Dublin every few weeks for business trips. This is the first time I've stayed in Number 59 and it will be my first choice from now on! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, offering me a drink when I arrived, letting me stay on in the lounge to get some work done after checkout (and providing unsolicited excellent coffee!). The room was fresh and comfortable and had a coffee machine, the bed was comfy, the towels were fluffy - I really couldn't fault it. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but that's not a big deal as there are several good cafes within one minute's walk."

"Our stay was disappointing from the start, as we were told we would be contacted when a room was ready yet heard nothing and on returning found it still unavailable. The room we were then given was at the very end of the hotel with part of the route lacking lift access, which made carrying luggage genuinely impractical. When we requested to move, two maintenance staff discuss with the hotel staff member (Eduardo) our move joking remarks about the next room being just as far, and laughed about us, it was incredibly rude considering we were standing right behind them. The second room had heating that repeatedly failed, no extra blankets were provided and the hotel phones never worked, so every issue had to be handled in person, we waited for 20minutes or so of our holiday just to speak to a manager. Having travelled to more than 30 countries, this fell noticeably below four star standards and, despite raising everything with management, nothing was resolved and we still have no response to our complaint."

"The stay at the hotel was perfect, the cleaning was good although they forgot to put us tissues during all the stay, but everything was very clean. However, there was something we didnt like. We had a one day trip and had to wake up very early. We had to leave the hotel at 7 am, it was a Monday, so the day before we asked the receptionist, she was very kind and told us that we could come at 6 am to have breakfast since most of the things would be ready before 6:30 am (the time they open the breakfast room). We came at 6:15, just 15 minutes before the breakfast started but a rude lady (from the night shift) told us that we had to wait until 6:30. We were confused because they had assured us we could get something for breakfast, but she repeated that this was not possible. I couldnt barely reply to her because she left before I could finish the sentence"
